Meet the Voice Behind Your Calls: Abby McDougal

A few months after VVC first opened its doors, I had the privilege of joining as one of their very first undergraduate interns. At the time, I had no idea how much that short experience would shape my path, both personally and professionally. What started as a learning opportunity quickly grew into something much bigger and opened doors for my future in ways I never could have imagined.

Just over a year later, I was thrilled to step into the role of Office Manager. In this position, I’ve been able to support both our clients and our team, helping create the welcoming and organized environment that VVC is known for. Soon, I’ll also begin my practicum and look forward to finally working with my own clients!

Although I will always be a proud Marylander at heart, I can genuinely give credit to the people and atmosphere at VVC for playing a huge role in making Virginia feel like home.
