My story as a counselor begins not with a desire for counseling (at least not at first), but with a deep love for people. I have always felt excited by meeting new people- hearing their stories, sharing joy in the ways we are similar, and finding awe in the ways in which we are different. My story, marked by both belonging and loneliness, unrealized grief and felt sorrow, unrelenting perfectionism and a hope for grace, has shaped in me a deep conviction that life is not always black and white. It is confusing, painful, and joyous - all at once. And I fully believe we were never meant to walk this journey alone. 

​So as my own story progressed, I felt with all certainty that God was drawing me to the field of counseling- a place where I can sit with you and your story, wherever it has brought you today. I believe there is strength in the willingness to share your lived experiences, and I hope to honor your courage by creating a safe space where you can feel seen, heard, and known exactly where you are.
