I remember getting ready to transition into college and experiencing this deep desire to be a youth pastor. Having given my life to the Lord four years prior and seeing the impact my youth pastor had on my life, I wanted to do the same for others. However, God had different plans. I wasn’t quite certain what He was calling me to do, but I learned my calling through various trials, words of encouragement, and spending time in His presence. I navigated grief, heartbreak, depression, anxiety, and a host of other challenges, having received comfort from the Comforter and support from those around me. Others brought attention to my strengths and spoke truth into my life when I was unable to see it for myself. All of this led to the journey of God’s calling into the counseling field.
 

I now have this amazing opportunity where I can sit with others in the most vulnerable season of their lives and offer them comfort, truth, and support. It is truly an honor to be in this field and to be trusted by others with their stories. My desire is to provide an environment where one can openly share their story without judgment, feel heard, and learn to walk in their identity toward a state of wholeness. I hope you find your core emotional needs met as we navigate this counseling journey into all God has for you.
