My Story
Throughout my life, I’ve come to believe that our lives — the joys, the hardships, and everything in between — tell a story. Each of our stories and formative years are unique, shaping us in profound ways. Giving voice to ourselves and our story, in safe settings, can result in powerful healing.
My personal story holds both pain and joy, including the challenge of navigating religious trauma. I’ve experienced my own growth and healing through my counseling journey; especially when sitting with counselors who were kind, empathetic, and curious. My hope is to be an empathetic witness to you and your unique story. I believe that when we are curious about what our bodies, emotions, and stories are telling us, we will not only gain insight, but deep and lasting healing.
I’m dedicated to creating a safe space, particularly for those from marginalized communities. Through ongoing education and advocacy, I strive to ensure that all voices are heard, valued, and respected.
